About Elisha Ministries
✦ Our Heritage & Mission
Greetings to you in the name of our gracious and precious Lord Jesus Christ. Established and registered in 2014 at Kotikesavaram, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, Elisha Ministries is a non-denominational evangelical organization. We are dedicated to the glory of God and the service of mankind, operating as a welfare and Gospel proclamation ministry for the poor, needy, and unreached.
Our mission is to preach the word of God not only by word but through actionable compassion—meeting physical needs to open hearts to spiritual truths.
✦ Our Founder: Late Revu Elisha
Born on October 25, 1965, Mr. Elisha grew up facing many hardships as an orphan. Despite these challenges, he completed his education and grew into a devoted Christian youth, leading his peers in the word of God. Believing that winning souls and doing God's work held more eternal value than mere physical labor, he dedicated his life to ministry.
He married Vimalavathi in 1982, and together they were blessed with four children. He fostered a deep burden for orphans, helping them grow physically, mentally, and spiritually. Pastor Elisha served faithfully until he passed away on April 8, 2016, leaving behind a profound legacy of God's glory on earth.
✦ Present Leadership: Anand Kumar
Born on December 11, 1987, Anand Kumar was dedicated to the ministry from childhood. After sensing a direct call to Gospel ministry in 2006, he completed his Bachelor's in Theology, followed by a Master of Arts and a B.Ed. Though professional job opportunities knocked, he chose to carry forward his father's mantle.
Anand has a burning passion to see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel across India. Emulating Jesus Christ, he provides both spiritual and physical nourishment to the hungry. Supported by his wife Pushpa and their daughters Vincy, Ellen and Peter he oversees a children's home, widows' home, evening school, and bi-monthly free food distributions.
